Meiryoku Sencha - 2023 1st Harvest, Naturally Grown with no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
Origin: Kirishima, Kagoshima Prefecture
Cultivar: Meiryoku
This Naturally Grown Sencha from Kirishima infuses to a nice green hue, with a slight woodsy aroma. It is a smooth tea with good mouthfeel. It has the characteristic grassy taste and medium-level astringency characteristic of fine sencha.

The Kirishima region of Kagoshima Prefecture has become a leading center of Naturally Grown tea production in Japan in recent years. The region as a whole has enjoyed a reputation for producing delicious teas for many years.
