will now be labeled as "Naturally Grown with no synthetic fertilizers or

Kagoshima Genmaicha, Naturally grown - 2023 1st Harvest
Origin: Sencha from Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu, + Brown Rice Blend from Niigata and Shizuoka Prefectures. Tea and rice naturally grown with no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.
Cultivar: Yabukita
Our Kagoshima Genmaicha infuses to a very smooth and fragrant tea with low astringency. It has the grassy notes of good Sencha, plus the warm toasty aroma of roasted brown rice.

Kagoshima Prefecture, located at the southern end of the Japanese Island of Kyushu, is a leading producer of tea in Japan, second only to Shizuoka Prefecture.
