Plenty of \u003cem\u003eamami \u003c\/em\u003e(sweetness) as characteristic with most Gyokuro with just a hint of \u003cem\u003eshibumi\u003c\/em\u003e (astringency) at the finish. Later infusions continue smooth with \u003cem\u003eumami\u003c\/em\u003e richness and a fine balance of \u003cem\u003eamami\u003c\/em\u003e (sweetness) and \u003cem\u003eshibumi\u003c\/em\u003e (astringency). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGood Gyokuro is often compared to a fine \u003cem\u003edashi\u003c\/em\u003e (broth) and this tea is full in the mouth with an herbaceous, sweet, and slight marine flavors. Infuses to a deep golden-green in the first infusion. The flavor and aroma are grassy with a slightly sweet finishing note. Full-bodied, but with very low astringency and lower caffeine content than sencha or gyokuro.
